Golf Course Etiquette

In order to keep maintain our course in its excellent condition, playing visitors are respectfully asked to do their part and help us by:-

  • Replacing divots on the fairway and also in the rough
  • Repairing at least one pitch mark on greens and if time permits more than one. If you are unsure how to replace a pitch mark properly please click here or see notices in the clubhouse. Successfully repaired pitch marks can heal within twice the time it takes for a half-hearted attempt to recover!
  • Avoiding slow play at all times and keeping up with the game in front
  • Disposing of rubbish properly in the bins provided around the course
  • Keeping trolleys to paths and avoiding tees and surrounding areas of greens
  • If you see anyone not practising good golf etiquette then politely remind them
  • Raking bunkers properly for the benefit of the games behind
